We are not aware of any issue with ChemBioDraw Ultra 12.0.x activation on Windows 7. If the product is activated using Administrator account other users are able use the product and they no need to activate once again.

However to use ChemDraw for Excel, the product should be reactivate once again in the Administrator account by the following way in Windows 7.
1. Launch ChemBioDraw (or ChemDraw) application by right click over the ChemDraw shortcut present in the Start menu (Start > Programs > ChemBioOffice2010) and select “Run as administrator”
2. Select “Activate ChemBioDraw Ultra” (or “Activate ChemDraw Ultra') from the Help menu
3. Enter your Name and serial number on the appropriate fields in the “CambridgeSoft Software Activation' window and click the 'Activate over Internet' button.

Incidentally, we create an activation override for our site users. After getting the approval from our management and signed acknowledgement of your organization we will provide you with a .reg file that allows overriding activation in our software. Then you can create an image of a machine (using our MSI based installers) with the override in place and distribute that image to work stations or distribute just the registry change itself to workstations via an appropriate third party push technology. * if you double click a ChemDraw document, the application will open, but the document will not.
- Yep, this is fixed.
* dialogue boxes became disabled so she could not change any settings (for example, under Object Settings)
- Yep, this is fixed too.
* pasting ChemDraw pictures into Pages/Keynote is totally hosed.
- Still totally hosed.
* ChemDraw 12 and Word 2004 don't get along particularly well either. The problem is more obscure. Basically, if a drawing contains structure and ANY text, it will display and print correctly and be round-trip editable. If it contains only drawing and NO text, it will look and print like crap but still be round-trip editable.

It's disappointing that a company with the resources of Cambridgesoft cannot address these issues in a more timely manner. Yes, we have fixed two issues. However, the Keynote/Pages pasting issue will snooker everyone who writes or lectures about Chemistry for a living (like me). The Word 2004 problem is not even acknowledged as a problem by Cambridgesoft and is particularly annoying since their solution to the round trip editing issue is to 'downgrade' from Word 2008 to Word 2004.
Incidentally, at least on my copy of ChemDraw 12 Ultra, the version number is still reported as 12.0, but Get Info on the application package reveals that the version is now 12.0.767 against 12.0.737 in the original release.
As I said in my previous post, I won't be holding my breath for a solution - it has taken two months to get to here and the *major* issues are still issues.
